The hotel is located in the heart of Växjö. It is in an old building but nicely decorated. The staff were super friendly and made us feel welcome. The room was clean, and the toilet even had floor heating. One of the best parts of our stay was that breakfast, fika, and dinner were included in the price.

The hotel’s location was great - close to everything in the high street. Staff was kind. I like that they offer free coffee all day long. The dinner included in the price was average but good still. The room was designed well and it was comfortable.

I loved this hotel! My room was spotless and spacious, despite being called a "compact" room! The bathroom and Rituals bathroom products were great. I really enjoyed the food, both at breakfast (HUGE variety!) and at dinner (I chose the half board option, and really glad I did). The location couldn't be more central, you can walk to the station in a few minutes and all main attractions are nearby - the cathedral, the lake, bars, restaurants and shops). I also loved the outside decked patio, perfect to relax in the sun.

Everything was amazing. Perfect location and amazing atmosphere. Friendly staff, very helpful, kitchen staff were also very friendly and readily available for any needs. Those were exceptional. Outdoor room was awesome. All amenities were there. The inhouse shower gel and shampoo were mesmerizing Thank you

It is difficult to find bad words to say about this hotel. Excellent location, staff very helpful, the room and bed were very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and the evening meals were adequate and enjoyable. The afternoon free fika was a bonus; the free coffee and tea at reception 24/7 was a nice touch. Their sauna was under renovation and they kindly arranged the use of a nearby gym sauna. Sadly, we are travelling through Sweden and unlikely we will return to Vaxjo but if we did we would not hesitate to stay there.

Fabulous hotel, great proximity to station. Free dinner and breakfast which was exceptional quality and quantity. This hotel coped extremely well with many British visitors on Monday night in town for parkrun by the lake. They were extremely helpful and friendly. The staff at breakfast worked very hard and I thanked them personally. I totally recommend it.

The dinner bouffet is a wonderful idea, precisely what we needed when we arrived, tired and not keen to find a restaurant. Important that the hotel could provide private and safe parking. Excellent breakfast.

The room was freshly renovated and well appointed. For once, one did not have to crawl around the floor to find charging points. Excellent lighting, fine shower and so on. A decent desk, if you have to work. Evening meal was included in my rate - not a great evening meal, but, eating out in Sweden (outside of the large cities) is seldom a pleasure anyway. At least you were fed. Breakfast, in contrast, was excellent, just as I like it. Loads of nuts, seeds, fresh fruit, grains and the likes. As well as the usual stuff: eggs, meats, cheeses, croissants. Växjö, the neatest and most adroit place I have ever been? Probably. Street parking was copiously available and presumably safe. Free of charge from 21-9, otherwise a modest hourly fee - I paid around 50 SKr for three hours.

Breakfast was the highlight of the visit - one of the best I have experienced. Mats on reception was extremely helpful and courteous - the rooms were up to 4 star standard. The hotel is well located to the Old Town and Central Station

Location, staff, good room for the price. Checked in 15 mins before the end of dinner but still had a chance to have a proper meal (Just lucky;)) Free tea/coffee at reception. Airport is close!!
